The XYH-6 capsule features two high-quality, angled unidirectional microphones that are sensitive to signals from the front, but less so to those from the rear or sides. X/Y recording is optimal for covering a wide area while maintaining central image emphasis, making it the ideal choice for all types of live stereo recording.

The XYH-6 X/Y microphone capsule is suitable for Zoom cameras with the first-generation interchangeable capsule system: H5, H6, H6 Black, H8, F8, F8n, F8nPRO, F1-LP, F1-SP, Q8, Q8n-4K and U-44.
